Day 1: Vancouver
Upon arrival At Vancouver International Airport, transfer independently to your hotel where a room has been reserved for you. (Private transfer option available) Overnight Fairmont Hotel Vancouver or similar. Day 2: Vancouver - Desolation Sound
Transfer independently to South Terminal Vancouver Airport for you Pacific Coastal Airlines flight to Powell River. On arrival you will be transfered to Lund to embark on the Pacific Bear for your cruise into Desolation Sound and your home for the next 3 nights, the Homfray Lodge. (Private transfer to South Terminal option available) Overnight at Homfray Lodge. Meal: Dinner Day 3 & 4: Desolation Sound
For the next 2 days after breakfast, enjoy the bear viewing excursion into Toba Inlet, you will cruise up the inlet with the rugged and spectacular scenery, keeping an eye out for whales, dolphins, seals and a multitude of other wildlife, be it on land, sea or in the air!. On arrival at the river each day, you will be warmly greeted by the guides from the Klahoose First Nation in whose territory you are visiting. You will be transfered to the viewing areas, both open and raised viewing areas to see the Grizzly Bear in it’s natural habitat feeding along the shotres of the river. Overnight Homfray Lodge. Meal: Bed & Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Day 5: Desolation Sound - Vancouver
After breakfast at the lodge this morning, you will again board the Pacific Bear for your leasurely cruise back to Lund and then transfer to the Powell River Airport to connect with your flight back to Vancouver. Upon arrival At Vancouver International Airport, transfer independently to your hotel. (Private transfer option available)

Today your are free to explore this beatiful city on the west coast of Canada, consitantly rated as one of the most livable cities in the world. You could take a hop-on/ hop-off tour or just relax and explore on foot.
Overnight Fairmont Hotel Vancouver or similar. Day 7: Vancouver - Winnipeg
Transfer independently to Vancouver. International Airport for your flight to Winnipeg (not included, but we can assist with NET fare at time of booking). Upon arrival in Winnipeg, transfer independently to your hotel (located at the airport terminal). There is a Meet & Greet briefing with your Tour Leader and the rest of your fellow adventurers before you journey north for the Polar Bears! (NOTE: Cold Weather Clothing can be arranged for rental for your journey and the fittings take place tonight - please inquire.
Day 8: Winnipeg - Churchill
Early morning transfer to the Winnipeg airport to board your flight to Churchill. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel while enjoying a guided bus tour of local and historical points of interest including such attractions as Cape Merry, Port of Churchill and Manitoba Conserva- tion’s Polar Bear Holding Facility (weather
permitting). Visit the Itsanitaq (Eskimo) Museum which contains one of Canada’s finest collections of Inuit carvings, kayaks and artefacts dating from pre-Dorset, Dorset, Thule, and modern Inuit times. Overnight Churchill. Meal: Bed & Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Day 9 & 10: Churchill
Enjoy a full day guided Tundra Buggy excursion viewing polar bears and other Arctic wildlife. Lunch and refreshments will be served on board. This unique vehicle is well heated and washroom equipped. The buggy’s over inflated tires allow unparalleled access onto the Tundra. Conservation regulations restrict the routes these vehicles can follow in order to protect the fragile ecosystem of this sub-arctic region. A limited group size of 22 passengers will provide you with the most favourable conditions to photograph the bears (normal tundra buggy capacity is 40 people). A platform on the rear of the buggy allows passengers to get an unrestricted view of the bears. Evening Cultural Presentation by a local trapper who shares his way of life in the north through the four distinct and beautiful seasons of Churchill. Overnight Churchill. Dog sledding excursion hosted by a local resident and dog sledding expert. Meet the team of friendly dogs, hear stories
and learn dog handling philosophy from an expert. Enjoy a mile long dog sled ride through the northern boreal forest along with hot chocolate and freshly made bannock. Parks Canada Interpretive Centre; walk back in time viewing detailed and exciting wildlife dioramas, fur trade exhibits. View a series of videos on the history, culture and wildlife of the area. You leave chock-full of natural and historical information from the Churchill region. Evening flight to Winnipeg and hotel overnight. Meal: Bed & Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner Day 12: Winnipeg departure
Your tour ends upon check out from the hotel. Transfer independently to the airport for your return flight home.
